“ Very impressed with the portions and options for combo. The grilled pork chops were juicy and flavorful. Brisket amazingly tender and delicious, I had to pace myself from devouring all of it from my first taste. LoL The green beans were on the mushy side but had nice season on them. The German soup broth was savory and THEN I tried the FIRESIDE CHILI ... LOVED IT !!! We plan on making several trips back to tour the menu. The next visit we'll dine in as the place has a great atmosphere and socially friendly staff. ”
“ The food was great! Dessert options were tasty, and the service was exceptional. We’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t take a picture of the pickle chips because they tasted too good. ”
“ We stumbled on this place while going to a competition at Lincoln High School and we were pleasantly surprised. Really nice place with great food, great drinks and a very friendly staff. I highly recommend the pickle chips. They have a large menu and everything looks delicious. We will be back for sure when we are in the area. ”
“ Still awesome, still delicious. Ordered the Family BBQ Meal. Did not disappoint, holy cow that was a lot food. Not bad on thebprice either. ”
“ First time here. Very interesting decor. Someone told me it used to be a general store turned into a restaurant. Very neat place. The staff was very friendly. Food was excellent. We got a fish sandwich, chicken sandwich, death by pork sandwich and the Firehouse hamburger. Definitely the best of them. All in my opinion was the Firehouse Burger. The spicy sauce was awesome. And the roasted pepper on top was a perfect addition. As far as appetizers, we only ordered the fried mushrooms and there was six of them and they were huge! Definitely come check this place out and you will not regret it! ”
“ Drove a hour to meet a buddy up here(and his cool kid). The atmosphere was very loud. This placed was packed. The service struggled a little bit cause it was so busy, but nothing unacceptable. On to the star of the show, which is the main reason for the 5 stars.......THE FOOD. Had fried pickles, nachos 0, onion rings for appetizer and they were all top notch. The broasted chicken was simply amazing. It was crispy and steaming hot. The platter was every bit as good as the chicken. The ribs were some if the best I have had in a long time. On to deserts.. This without a doubt the best bread pudding I have had in my entire life. The carrot was pretty good. Will be looking for an excuse to come eat here again. ”
“ Always great service and even better food. Formerly known as The Pickle Barrell, we always enjoy our experience here. Drinkable ranch and fried pickles are always on the menu for our family. Haven't been here, try it out, you won't be disappointed. Also, take a look at the history of haunting here. ”
“ Very nice place. Home cooked food. Was definitely work the stop. ”
